Loved this dress and would consider it a staple for anyone’s Fitzroy dress. The dress, while midi length, worked perfectly for a formal black tie event.
Consider this if you are petite and don’t want to have to deal with long hem lines. I’m 5 ft 3 and am wearing a sz 8.

I wore this dress to a black tie masked ball at the Hearst Castle in California. As a mid length it was perfect with all the steps and yet formal enough for black tie. Very comfortable and with sleeves and high neckline warm enough to not need a shawl in the cool evening. Jewelry and shoe choices were easy.

This dress is totally magical! The cut and length are so flattering. There is a good weight to this dress and the quality is so good, you can tell it is an expensive dress…it FEELS expensive.
I am not a “lace” person but this type of lace is modern and so intricate. The sleeves and midriff are not lined, which I thought was the perfect balance of classic and a bit cheeky.
I have broad shoulders and I felt that the shoulders were the only area that was very fitted for me. The rest of the dress skimmed my body and I found the fit true to size. The waist is nicely defined. I can’t say a single thing that I didn’t like about this dress except I hated to take it off at the end of the evening! I would definitely wear it again.
